My son has the Canon Rebel T6i. Which was way more money than I wanted to spend. I wanted a web camera but thought this EOS 2000D would do what I wanted. Plus it came with some other equipment that I thought was good as well. This can be a point and click if I wanted to be. But I though, I’ll get outside soon and try it out.

This kit is great! So far I have been able to take the best quality photos I have ever taken. I am not a photographer. This kit has everything you need to get started. Most of the pieces seem a bit low end in quality, but they work. I am encouraged to keep shooting and learning more about this art form. P.s. I used my E7 to shoot a video project this past weekend, the video was better quality than some of my video cameras. The downside, it will only record in 30 min increments, and does not give warning as to when it’s about to stop.

I primarily use it for my webcam. Had to buy the right USB cable though. As a webcam it sucks the battery down quickly so I had to buy some extras.Otherwise, it is great. Lots to learn if you want to take good photos. But easy enough to just get started.I don’t use most of the extras that came with it.

Camera works great but beware of seller. It showed up on time but the battery and charger were both bad called them no response also had amazon file a claim with them through their system still no response. Ended up purchasing a new battery and charger for the camera after I did this it work great.

This is a camera best suited for Manual setting users. Autofocus on the T7 is extremely slow, and has been since it came out. Manual focus is much faster once you learn to use it that way.The rest of the camera settings are very easy to adjust, and the auto works reasonably well for casual shooting.Holding any long lens still, is gonna be hard without a lot of practice, but the 500 is actually a really good lens as far as image quality. This is what that monopod and that tiny tripod are really good for!The slave flash is pretty tiny. I guess it could be useful but I am not sure what I could use it for. If you are needing to shoot dim lit, you are going to have to invest in at least a >$100 flash. The case I received was a very well made and suitable Vivitar. The tulip hoods, color and UV filters fit the lenses tight and work well. Always install UV lenses and leave them as they will protect your actual lens from dust and damage!Over all, I am very happy.
